Save money! SAT will charge taxes for pets, bicycles and windows!

 


The new economic package for 2022 in Mexico has changed. Incredibly, now, to collect money, SAT will charge taxes for pets, bicycles and windows.

It seems that now, we must pay for common things in our lives. That’s what covid-19 has left us… an economic setback.


The President of Mexico said: “It’s the only way to have a grow-up in the economy, because business has been closed during the pandemic”. 


Partido Verde quickly stated its position on the morning news, saying that the growing use of bicycles as transportation due to the inefficient public transport in Mexico City would discourage the use of this ecological alternative because in 2022, travelling by bicycle won’t be free anymore.


About taxes on pets, Congresswoman Alejandra Quiroz described it as absurd and that it would unconsciously increase the problem of abandoned pets on the streets.


Apparently, we will go back to the Porfirio Díaz era, because we will pay for the number of windows our house has! INVI said it’s absolutely silly because windows are a way to save energy and take advantage of sunlight so, now, we will pay more for electric light and we will see houses with fewer windows than now.

    oh my God, it is incredible how the country has come to have to collect more taxes. Then steal them and not help the development.

    that sounds incredible, how a pandemic hit an economy in a country, I think more taxes especially to windows is a joke, there be a different way to increase a economy in Mexico.
